On the 2nd last day of work, the boss said he'd take me out for a farewell lunch. My first thot was 'Oh gawd, do I have to listen to a whole hour of prep talk?'. But of cos it would have been rude not to accept. So I agreed. I first thot that we'd be going nearby to his usual restaurants at Telawi St, but he decided to take me to the Le Meridien Hotel instead. Wow! What luxury. Hmm...
It turned out to be a really expensive lunch at the interntational coffee house cos he opened a bottle of Moet. And the most unexpected thing happened during desserts when he made a pass at me! *gasp* I was flabbergasted to say the least. Never in my wildest nightmares had I known that he had any such 'desires' for me! It was icky really cos (1) I've absolutely no attraction for him, (2) he's the boss I've been complaining abt all this long, and (3) he's frikin MARRIED and I know his wife! So the cheek of him! *Ugh*
Needless to say I'm so relieved that it's all over and that I never have to see or deal with him again! What a 'farewell treat' it was! *yucks* But on the other hand....WOOHOO! The days at that godforsaken hell-hole are o-v-e-r! *phew*
